Kidnapping, drugs dominate grand jury indictments

 Not good.......


Rockland — A Knox County grand jury indicted 60 people during a three-day session that ended April 7. Many of the cases involved drug trafficking.

The following people were indicated. An indictment is a way for the state to lodge a criminal charge against a person. The people indicted are presumed innocent.

Jessica E. Gagnon, 28, of Thomaston, kidnapping, assault and terrorizing on Dec. 5, 2009. She was charged with kidnapping a woman from Rockland and holding her in Thomaston until police arrived and freed the woman.

Gagnon was also indicted for tampering with a witness and violating a condition of release by attempting to get someone to give false information.
